8 Operators Alerted to Handle Overflowing Waters of Angke River

As much as 8 operators are alerted at Wijaya Kusuma Pump Station in order to anticipate overflowing waters of Angke River onto Jalan Tubagus Angke, Grogol Petamburan, West Jakarta.

We have three optimal pumps. They alerted to switch on water pump in case of flood water

Agus Hutagalung, Coordinator of Pump Station said operators are responsible to arrange water discharge still in normal condition.

“ We have three optimal pumps. They alerted to switch on water pump in case of flood water ,” he expressed, Monday (12/14).

Nevertheless, Hutagalung cannot make sure if the flood water from bogor has exceeded the river's capacity, which is 280 cm. Currently, the current water level is still at 220 cm.

“In 2013, there was water pump in Wijaya Kusuma, the water that overflowed to Tubagus Angke could recede in a week, and now it could be one day or even per hour,” he finished.
